In this course, you will receive hands on training at the range where we will work with you to improve your basic skills and understanding of your handgun, including an excellent home defense weapon...The Shotgun
Becoming familiar with these weapons is critical and knowing how to engage with them will possible save your life or others...
This course is for those individuals who need a refresher or who wants to improve their firearm skills.
Class will be approximately 4 to 5 hours on the range.

Baseball style hat recommended

If you do not have your own Handgun, we do have Rentals Available at $20.00 each. Shotguns will be provided for demonstrations and for everyone to get a chance to shoot one.
N. C. CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN PERMIT
This is a NC State Mandated 8 hour class that you must take in order to be allowed to carry a concealed handgun.
Requirements

There will be a minimum of 2 full hours of discussing NC Laws based upon NC Common Law and Statutory Law in which the use of deadly physical force would be justifiable.

Learn the places where handguns may not be carried even if the individual has a Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.

Demonstrate Proficiency with the firearm

Identify major parts of the revolver or semiautomatic pistol
-
Demonstrate proficiency in Marksmanship Fundamentals.

You must pass a 20 Multiple choice and True / False test to recieve your certificate.

Must be a legal NC Resident
-
18 years old for the class, and 21 years old for the CCH Permit
-
Eye and Ear protection
-
A Handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition
-
Will be firing from 3, 5 & 7 yards and shooting at a B-27 full size target
-
Make at least 80% on a final test

NO LOADED HANDGUNS WILL BE ALLOWED IN BUILDING!!!
You must take this class prior to applying for a CCH permit at the Sheriffs office.
